• Permit and parcel data: Property records, permit applications, inspection results, fee payments, and enforcement cases entered by your municipality.
• Documents: Files uploaded to the platform including permit applications, inspection photos, and supporting documents.
• Usage data: Log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance monitoring.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the ParcelPost platform for your municipality.
• To process permit applications, schedule inspections, and manage enforcement cases.
• To generate reports and analytics for your building department.
• To provide technical support and respond to inquiries.
• To improve the platform based on usage patterns.

Data Hosting and Security

All data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. Your data never leaves US soil. We use SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for data at rest, and perform daily automated backups. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Data Ownership

Your municipality owns its data. We are a data processor, not a data owner. You can request a complete export of your data at any time. If you cancel your subscription, we will provide a full data export and delete your data from our systems within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Amazon Web Services: Cloud hosting and data storage.
• Cortex: AI-powered building code search and document analysis.

We do not sell your data to third parties.
